What is the World Missionary Movement?

At its core, the World Missionary Movement recognises and adopts for all its activities, the biblical principles of brotherly love, spiritual unity, fellowship, mutual respect, cooperation, communion, fellowship and equality with all God's people.

MOVEMENT

The movement is an effect. The great cause of this movement is the action of the Holy Spirit with His gifts and fruits worked through men and women, with a clear and broad vision of the need of lost souls, with a recognised spirit of faith and sacrifice, and a clean testimony; who, inviting the Great Missionary, our Lord Jesus Christ, place in the background all material, personal, religious, denominational interests, to give first place and priority to the supreme interest of fulfilling the Great Commission and the evangelisation of the world.

MISSIONARY

Its aim is the promotion and extension of missionary work, evangelism and the salvation of souls. It refers to those who are dedicated to taking the gospel message to places where it has not yet been preached, often in geographical regions other than their place of origin. It involves a central focus on the task of mission, that is, the spread of Christianity, church planting, and attention to the spiritual and material needs of the communities served.

WORLD CUP

Its vision and action is worldwide, ‘to the ends of the earth’. This denotes the global scope of missionary work. It indicates their aspiration to extend their missionary work to all nations of the world, regardless of geographical, cultural or linguistic location. This implies a global vision and a commitment to evangelism on an international level.
